Medieval Festival & Country Fair

A Country Fair celebrated against a Medieval backdrop. Our past brought to life in a festival with such medieval events as archery, falconry and jousting.

On Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th July 2009. From 11am to 6pm in the ground of Barryscourt Castle.

Coordinated by the Carrigtwohill Community Council.

 

Country Fair
A charter, granted on September 28th 1234 by King Henry III to Sir David de Barra and his heirs, established their right to hold a fair day once a year in Carrigtwohill. This continues to be a most popular event and a great community day out.
